Real World Environment (complete)
However, quickly after opening UE5 I started to feel stressed as it was somewhat difficult to visualize everything I needed to do. What I did in this situation (and what I always do when I feel like this) is to just start working, as what I need to do is always scarier in my head than in practice. The UE5 work ended up not being as bad as I thought. I started this process by finishing the rest of the modeling (which I did by creating the rest of my assets with the UE5 modeling tools). I then started to block out the walls and balcony with the Extrude and/or Cube Grid tools. The practice from the in-class lectures these steps very easy for me. The only difficulty I encountered was when I trying to figure out how to make indents in the walls for the doors. But quickly after I remembered that I could use additive and subtractive brushes to make basic shapes with holes in them.
I also stressed about what exactly I should include from the images of my apartment, I didn't want to do to little but I also didn't want to spend to much time on small details. But I quickly decided what I want in the scene and what I don't want, and I am very happy with the finished product
